Phoenix Lights 13th Anniversary Report

Hi All~ Some thoughts from one of your “Dudettes” (Hugs to Spedman, we love our nickname!). I find it interesting that a main stream “news” source such as fox would report (and on a serious note, no snickers and the sort of thing one often sees) on an important event such as the Phoenix Lights. I see it as a source of hope, that maybe, just maybe people are starting to come to understand. Wouldn’t that be so wonderful! I do have to say, am rather disappointed with Dr. Kitei’s answer at the end of the video regarding whether she believes or not… Yes, it was “extraordinary”. Is she frightened of what people may think? Or is it that she truly isn’t certain of what she and hundreds of others saw and reported that night? Maybe because of my own personal experiences it makes it hard to understand how anyone could not be certain. Therefore, perhaps my thoughts are colored on questioning her personal interpretation of what was seen that night. Please understand, I do respect the work she has done and is doing.

When I experienced my first sighting, it was a place in time where I questioned repeatedly for weeks after. Running it through my mind over and over. Thinking I must surely be “losing it”. Always I came up with the same answer…I KNOW what I saw and I BELIEVE! After that, I yearned to embrace the moments, hoping for another glimpse…The next time, I was able to truly stop and ENJOY every second, savoring and branding it on my soul for later examination. That time, when I ran it all over and over in my mind, it was for sheer enjoyment. Not questioning my sanity and certainly no panic was experienced the second time around, just….awe and excitement of a positive nature. I yearn for another glimpse and that it will last much much longer. The day WILL come. For us all.

Kudos to the 911 operator for her courage in speaking out! So, in spite of the news source we hope you enjoy the article and video.

It happened 13 years ago, March 13, 1997. Hundreds if not thousands of people called in to radio and TV stations to report something in the skies over Phoenix.

911 operators were swamped with calls, as well as Sky Harbor and Luke Air Force Base.

That mystery in the sky would eventually be known as the Phoenix Lights, one of the most viewed UFO sightings of all time.

There have been many theories about the Phoenix Lights — aliens, military aircrafts, flares, balloons, inter-dimensional travelers. Whatever it was, you can get an upclose look at the evidence Dr. Kitei has gathered and decide for yourself.

An updated version of the Phoenix Lights documentary will be shown at Scottsdale’s Harkins Shea 14 Theater, Sunday, March 14 at 1 and 4 p.m.

Dr. Kitei will also be there for a Q and A session after each showing.
