Community Contributions, Anyone?

Hello again to all you! Yep, it’s off topic, which means it’s me, GM Dudette Sarah =)

I just wanted to take a moment to remind all of you that once you’re registered with the site, you have the ability (and the invitation!) to post your own posts that you’d like to share with others. While short comments, most YouTube videos, and other short, small messages should still be done via comments, we’re well aware at this point that MANY of you have very important messages that you’d like to share with the group. LeAnn and I are both perfectly happy with you continuing to post via comments, if you prefer to – but we’re also inviting you to make those important messages into their very own posts! Your gift of words, visions, dreams, etc. doesn’t have to be lost within the popularity of the Salusa and Quinsey posts – they can each have their very own, which allows people to comment on your message as well. If anyone needs assistance in learning how to set up their own post, please email us at admin@galacticmessages.com, and we’ll be more than happy to answer your questions.

A few quick things to note – due to security issues, we’ve disabled email notification to post authors when comments are made. Comments can (and likely will) still be made on Community Contribution posts, the authors simply won’t receive email notices about them. Also, please note that due to spam, all Community Contribution posts are set to hold for admin approval. What that DOES mean is that we’ll get to it as quickly as we can, and get it approved. What that does NOT mean is censorship. We will not change the context of your posts. Should there be any issues on our end with anything anyone in our community posts, we’ll simply hold off on approving it for the time being, and contact you via email. The only exception to this is adding a very brief “This Message Posted By (YourUserName)”.

I hope many of you find this helpful, and maybe even a little exciting! I’m off to entertain the young ones with shiny, colorful things that blow up (relax, you guys, it’s just fireworks) =).
