Does it take making a killing to make a living?
-
One of the benefits of being deeply entrenched in the success mode I was in is to now be able to look back and see how far I fell before I found the way out of the success path I was on along with everyone else that was chasing the “American Dream”. The more distance I put between me and that carnal world of beating a path to the top the more I see what I had done to the rest of the world.
While building my business, which had operated in 38 countries and territories around the world I used up a handful of cars and seven motor homes. Back in the 90′s my fuel bill every month was $1,000 per month, when it was about a dollar per gallon, and that of course was just the cost of doing business. I was what was known then in the hunt for the prize and that prize was to be able to buy as many people as I needed to give me and my family a lifestyle that few would be able to achieve or know in the world.
What none of us took into account at the time was at what cost did this lifestyle come and what price would others in the world have to pay to give me my due as a successful business man. I never knew that the dark cabal had exported this insane idea of competitive commerce through out the world and enticed most of the world into the dream of having the American Dream as it was pushed on them in their schools, televisions, and entertainment.
I saw all of this first hand in places like the Philippines where they had adopted the American way of life, language, and everybody had lost their way there too fueled by the idea that they too could have a piece of this life. Everywhere you go in these countries you see people stepping on each other at any cost to be the one at the end of the day to be on top of their small hill only to be knocked off the next day by someone smarter, younger, or stronger. About the time anyone of them made it big and created a good size market then a large corporation would come in and take them out after they had neatly carved out a niche and market for them to then go in and capitalize on it.
When I was there in the Philippines with my wife I told her that I was one of the men responsible for this madness that drives men to compete for a piece any piece so they could raise their lot in life. I said everyone here has bought the lie and the love is gone. There like many places in the world where life is tough alcoholism and anger is very high. My wife told me that most men there drink and abuse their wives. Where does this come from the extreme frustration come from but only of being in an arena competing with the masters of the world that invented this commercial hell with no real chance of winning but always dangling the carrot in front of me and them.
With all this and more I figured by me staying in the commercial game fought in their arena I was one of many responsible for fueling this fire and all the victims that are consumed by it. Lost lives, lost families, lost hopes. In short I learned how to make a killing in the market so I could make a living.
During my first year of not charging for what I did any longer that conviction was tested more than once. There were two times that I remember almost giving up and walking back into the arena. Everything that I needed was always coming in but what scared me was on these two occasions in particular I had enough gasoline to get the kids to school and me to the airport but had no idea (NONE) how I was going to pick them up and be able to drive home and make dinner. I stood by my front door that morning looking out at it snowing and said the hell with it. I know how to make money, I know how to make a lot of it, why, because had I listened to no less than about 1000 success tapes, read at least 150 success books, and had attended more seminars that I could count. I was equipped, trained, and loaded for bear so I knew I could get BACK in the arena and make a killing by over taking the weak ones that were not as smart as me or as well trained.
God, I had such a rush of mixed emotions and thoughts standing there. Oh, I did not dwell too long on it, because when I looked down at my feet I said out loud, “but I can’t, its wrong”. I actually have tears in my eyes as I type this because those two times were such a cross road for me and those emotions were so powerful. Well both times we went to town and while I do not remember the particulars we got home those times and we had dinner and the lights stayed on. If only you could know what it is like to be a trained killer in commerce and actually dwell on the thought of picking up a sword and getting back into the arena again especially when your kids are involved. Ourselves we can put up with anything but when it is the ones that depend on you it tends to bring out the competitor in you.
I suppose each of you that make the choice to leave the arena will have your day to where you will have to decide whether you make a killing again so you can have a living or know that when you cannot touch the bottom of the pool any longer you have no choice but to trust that we are all in good hands and everything will be okay just as long as we do not take matters into our own hands and rob ourselves of the course that is set before us.
It is much better now to spend my time figuring out how I can help someone get what it is that I can do for them as opposed to how can I get or take an advantage in the market place to push me and mine ahead to the illusion of a dream lifestyle. By the way those hard times after the first year or two went away probably only because I passed those tests and did not have to have those thrown at me any longer. Don’t worry though I have had more as my higher self was finally able to get my attention and turn me around from being a trained competitor to that of a servant doing what I should have been doing all my life before all the dark cabals programing got me along with everyone I knew.
All of us are being taught and put on a course to ascension which is nothing more than the path to love and the life of higher frequencies that come with it. If you have felt the tugging to change this path in your life just know that you will be fine and you can boldly step out with the confidence that like me you too will be taken care of and you can truly cast your cares aside and change your karma by not making a killing any longer just to make a living.
Let there be peace on our earth among us and let it begin with each of us that has the courage to take the first steps there.

‘Does it take making a killing to make a living?’ Figuratively no. But the way we live in the West has literally ‘killed’ and exploited millions. No one said taking the ‘red pill’ would be easy. We find ourselves at the end of a game that has run it’s course. And nothing we do to try and reshuffle the deck will change the inevitable. The game is over! A necessary step for Humanity to fully return to ‘Unity Consciousness.’
**The Arithmetic of Compassion** by, David Ulansey
Ever since I was a child, I have been searching for a certain number: namely, the figure for the annual Gross World Product (GWP). The GWP is the value of all goods and services produced each year by the entire human species, and the reason I was searching for this number as a child is that I wanted to take it and divide it by the number of people in the world, so that I would know what each human being was actually entitled to if the world’s resources were divided fairly and equitably.
I finally ran into this number recently, and I have now performed the simple arithmetic of compassion. It turns out that the Gross World Product is now $65 trillion. It is important to note that this figure of $65 trillion -arrived at independently by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the CIA- has been adjusted in advance to take into account what is called “purchasing power parity” (PPP): which means that the figure is 65 trillion units, each unit of which represents what one U.S. dollar will currently buy IN THE UNITED STATES. (The PPP adjustment eliminates from the very start any strategies of denial such as, “Oh, that doesn’t mean anything -you can live like a king in India for $5,000 a year.” No. Wrong.)
~Now to the arithmetic of compassion:
Since the GWP is 65 trillion U.S. dollars, if we divide that figure by the number of people in the world -6.8 billion ( http://www.ibiblio.org/lunarbin/worldpop ) -we get a rough estimate of the maximum annual income that anyone in the world is morally entitled to (assuming that it is moral to strive for an equitable distribution of the world’s resources to all of humanity).
So, dividing $65 trillion by 6.8 billion we get about $9,000 per year (again, that’s already adjusted for purchasing power parity: it’s 9,000 units, each unit of which is what one U.S. dollar will currently buy in the United States). That’s what each of us is actually entitled to – $9,000 a year- and any more than that represents institutionalized and socially sanctioned armed robbery: indeed, every additional increment of $9,000 (beyond the maximum moral income of $9,000 a year) represents one slave somewhere in the world whose entire life, birth to death, is completely devoted to getting us our “stuff.”
And unfortunately we can’t “grow” our way beyond this $9,000 a year figure, since at the current level of $65 trillion GWP we have already OVERSHOT BY 30% what the Earth actually produces.
The fact that the human species is already in 30% overshoot means that not only can we not “grow” our way beyond the $9,000 maximum moral income level, we actually need to *shrink* that down to $6,000 just to come back to a level where humanity is merely using 100% of everything the Earth produces (rather than using 130% of what the Earth produces, as we are very temporarily doing!). This is especially the case since the world population is due to increase by almost 50% -to more than 9 billion people- by 2050.
Of course a $6,000 a year income may sound rather frightening to those of us who have become accustomed to the “American standard of living.”
However, to place this figure in its proper perspective, it is helpful to keep in mind that according to the World Bank, at this very moment almost half of the people in the world (3 billion people) live on less than $2.50 (PPP) a day -$900 a year- and a quarter of the world’s population (1.4 billion people) live below the official world poverty level of $1.25 a day- $456 a year.
In fact, three years ago World Bank chief economist Nicholas Stern estimated that a European *cow* receives $2.50 a day in subsidies, while 75% of Africans live on less than $2 a day.
So although $6,000 a year may sound disturbing to us, for the majority of the people in the world it would literally constitute wealth beyond their wildest dreams.
Finally, it is crucial to realize that $6,000 a year per person is actually still far too high to be sustainable, even if there were no population growth ahead at all. This is because at the level of $6,000 a year per person for 6.8 billion people, we would still be consuming 100% of what the Earth can produce, and would thus be doing absolutely nothing to prevent the two greatest threats facing us in our own lifetimes: (1) a mass extinction of the Earth’s biodiversity resulting from habitat destruction, pollution, invasive species, and over-harvesting, and (2) catastrophic climate change that could render the earth uninhabitable for much of higher life including our own species.
The solution is clear: we must immediately and drastically reduce our levels of consumption. Something like $4,000 a year per person is probably in the right ballpark for what is ecologically possible and morally justifiable. Again, that may be difficult for many of us to hear, but remember that $4,000 a year is more than *4 times* the amount that half of the people in the world live on at this very moment. In fact, according to the World Bank, 95% of all people in developing countries (which means almost 80% of all human beings) live on less than $10 a day -less than $4,000 a year.
Of course then the question is: how can we in the “developed” world accomplish such a reduction? One common answer to this question is simply unworthy of discussion: namely, “It’s impossible.” Whenever I find that answer spontaneously rearing its ugly head in my own imagination, I like to remind myself that Eskimos live in houses made of ice, but their lives are filled with just as much love and beauty, and their children laugh and play with just as much joy -perhaps more!- as our own.
Beyond all its other characteristics, Homo Sapiens is a species capable of extreme adaptability. The time has at last arrived for us to become actual Human Beings, and to allow compassion — and celebration! — to guide us into a radically new world: a world where we experience “QUALITY of life” for ourselves as being indistinguishable from “EQUALITY of life” for all.

Thank you for sharing your story Nicholas – excellent read, and there is no doubt it has taken great courage to make the leap of faith you have. As the Rolling Stones song goes: “You can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you just might find. You get what you need”. I find that lyrics to be profoundly true.
The perpetual hunt for material satisfaction is something that more and more people are realizing isn’t going to work. It is a lie that has been sold to the western world.
The super rich know this to be true – they know that another fancy car isn’t going to make them any happier. Some turn to drugs to escape instead, but being super rich takes away the naive dreams that a lot of people have about the happiness in being rich. Even if they become rich and famous, they discover the flip side of the coin – how awful it is being famous and the fear of loosing it all, and the bad taste of knowing you stepped on a lot of people to get there.
@Stick:
Sounds like David Ulansey has bought into the Illuminati induced fears and the idea that we humans are a pest on the Earth and the problem is over-population (read: they want to bring down our numbers, and tell us how little we are worth and how much damage we cause lowering our vibrations when ever possible).
$6000 may sound like nothing, but people that think this is a fortune do not have to pay the prices we pay in the “developed” world, and they most certainly do not have to pay as much just to be allowed to live (real estate tax). It is ludicrous to have to pay because you owe the bank money for a house – let alone pay interest rates on money that never existed before you promised to pay it back. We will not need money once we go to a more service oriented way of living instead of this low vibration greed based system deliberately put in place to keep us down. I can’t wait!!!
The EU alone overproduces a lot of crops and farmers are rewarded to destroy the surplus crops and milk. This is insane just like dumping cheap products to Africa that puts local farmers out of business – the EU is a bully that needs to be stopped. But of course the voters have no say in the matter. If they vote “no” they will either rig the next elections or spread some fear around along with some propaganda that a “yes” vote would make all our problems go away. There is no democracy, and it will have to crumple apart from the inside out.
The future is indeed looking bright – can’t wait to see some turmoil during mid October as predicted (not by GF – they always say ‘soon’ presumably to have us attract the idea – and hopefully not frustration by no apparent change). But I start to sound like a broken record – even if the tune might be good, which is also why I don’t post as much anymore – nothing new to add that hasn’t been said a few hundreds of times before
Thanks for all your comments – keep’em coming.

Thank you Quadhealer for the affirmation, all of us that have stepped out in the light have taken heat from the dark cabal, others that are asleep, the jealous, and not to mention in my case here my own intellect which can be quite a battle. I also loved the song by Styx called The Grand Illusion. Where they say,”America spells competition so join us in our blind ambition go out and buy a brand new car. Someday soon we will stop to ponder what is this spell we are under we made the grade and still we wonder who the hell we are”. So many of the rock stars were given the inside track to be heralds for a non listening world. Thank you again for your kind words, Nick

@Quad: I can’t wait either! From where I stand the fear that permeates through much of this type of data is a necessary part of the process of ‘completely’ letting go; a part of the birthing pains of the new paradigm. I would liken it to the film ‘An Inconvenient Truth,’ which on close examination could be seen as a form of fear mongering- but from another angle, a moment where masses of sheeple took a deeper look at how they where living their lives. Of course the word ‘truth’ has shown itself to be completely subjective in economic, political, scientific and spiritual circles. ~What’s more meaningful for me as we approach 2011 is having the laymen (primarily in the West) wrestle with the very ‘real’ inequities of financial power and the havoc it’s wreaked on our Brothers & Sisters. Not just locally, but globally. There does seem to be great ‘value’ in accepting that we are ALL in this together. Sometimes just breaking down the math is enough to snap people out of their Annunaki/Illuminati induced slumbers. (Looks like it’s working for Nicholas)
