OK… further to my mysterious radio experience in #143 last thread… simple explanation, after all:

Turns out my friend was interviewing Charlie Sheen and they had just recorded the call and were editing it. Some turkey in another studio pushed a button which caused the station to go completely off air, and then another button which transmitted the editing session!!!!!! so it was Charlie’s voice after all that! Lucky I called in though, as they had no idea this was happening

Stick #167 – was a good trip, thanks, a bit surreal because it was all so rushed, but did get some chillaxing in. Saw some magnificent skies when I was there – it’s out in horse country, so the sky is dark and clear. Also saw a very bright light zig zagging across the sky at one point, very far away from us, but i’m pretty much convinced it was one of our Space Brethren

I am in California this week for spring break visiting my new granbaby girl. I have been dubbed MiMi.

Steffie, I just saw the finale of the Bachelor (an american reality show) and they filmed it in Capetown, SA It is so beautiful there. Looks like paradise.

JBiz, Mike Quinsey is a retired person living in the U.K. and does not charge for his messages. Of course, the Galactic Messages site makes these messages freely available, but running those servers does cost $$ so it makes sense that they would have advertising on the site to help offset the costs.

However, we do live in a world where one cannot get far without money, so unless a channel wants to spend most of their time working, or living off of a partner’s income, they may need to ask for donations or charge for their work.

I think it is a slippery slope, and I have definitely seen some slide down it. For instance, I think J.Z. Knight here in Washington went down that path, and it hasn’t been pretty.

Prologue
I get some answers as in a mental video form so will be describing these in my own words, rather than actual channeled ideas or direct words as is typical. If I write my own description of a video-type communication I’ll put it within brackets.

Questions I’ll be asking:
Is your environment like a typical cave with rocks, dirt, water, algae?
Do you have species of animals that are not found on the surface of Earth?
What is the mixture of gases you breath, and percentages of each gas?
Can you breathe water? Or liquids?
Are Agarthans basically humanlike in physiology?
Are any humans or non-Agarthan sentient species there with you?
Are there different races within your culture?

Could Agarthan individuals survive on the surface?

Within our home are walls of caves, but we have the capability to mould matter as we like. We create caverns, clean caverns, with various elements and crystals. We have enormous caverns like you have never discovered and crystals larger than any you’ve seen or made. We have walls of crystal used for viewing consciousness Itself, Gajun, as SeRenShitha or SaLuSa might notate. Our lightsources are living beings: moss, algaes, phosphorescent beings. Our world is clean to us but there is a mustiness so we have heard – and to answer a different question we do have visitors from Earth surface and from other Galactic entities.

The air we breathe is composed of oxygen, 61%, Nitrogen 18%, Sulfur 12% and various other small percentage minerals and elements; we have no pollution and our atmosphere, as it were, is constantly balanced and pure, again maintained by living beings of Essence and typicality.

We do not keep animals for food products or sustenance nor for pets but there are quite a number of living beings within our walls and proximity. There are fish and eels, salamanders, no birds, no quadrupeds, but many varied species, just as on surface.
We are basically humanesque with the same organs, same bones, same energy channels. Our healing is immeasurably beyond that of surface humans and we balance with energy detail mechanisms, again many alive but also some dead plants and minerals. The sustenance of the Agarthans is quite different from that of ancient humans, we have evolved much due to our change in venue and close proximity to construct lines and Earth-center energy transmittance, and thus our sustenance comes very little from food and liquid intake, but mostly from breath and transduction of energy directly through to our Self.

I am Parcival. We Agarthans rarely come to Earth-surface, although we often venture beyond. We have technologies that do not require physical entities in order to travel, fly, teleport, as you might call it, or bilocate. We do channel quite frequently and have a fair influence on some types of earthly events. When a large meeting of humans happens the energy chaos and vortices are much too much for what it should be; the construct was not truly designed to hold the energies of hundreds of thousands of people in one location and the sheer number of humans on your planet surface at this time is great. We balance those chaotic overflows on frequent occasion and allow proper channels to flow to earth-center for annihilation. We would not prosper particularly well on earth-surface. The sunlight, dryness, immense energy interactions would not suit well with our Essential way of being.

Our communities are connected and interwoven on the most intimate of levels – our energy is Gajun and we are closer to 5th dimensionality than we are to 4th as the humans are. We do not choose wives or husbands and homosexuality is not labeled as such, we all mix interwovenly and breathe the same energy. We do procreate but again it is a process of energy transversal and tangent on order to separate off a sibling. It is not a process of physical birth as you understand. This is entirely reminiscent of 5th dimensionality as the humanform reproduction was not conducive or beneficial to our culture. As you say kibbutz, we do have slight separations in grouping as hundreds of beings in a coven, then another like group near in proximity with very close ties. Imagine this as two soap bubbles touching, they could easily become one, but do in fact have a barrier and similarity.

I am Parcival. I have covered all that you ask. Concerning religion or deity we are Gajun, we are connected and One. We recognize the barriers between levels, especially aware that humans have the most separation from Gajun perceiving themselves as distinct individuals – this is not our way any longer.

[really smooth ground like rock tiles, giant crystals protruding across from upper cave walls to opposite cave walls. The entire area has a dim light feel but naturally sort of iridescent and energetic – it does not “feel” dim. There was water running on the left side of the vision I saw, it glowed a slight greenish-aqua. The feeling I got was of serenity and calm, very stable ambiance, no wind. I saw beings of average to tall in height (not what I expected) with a slight greenish radiant energy flowing from them. As I’m seeing this in mind’s eye I couldn’t really say if I’m seeing this “in reality” or in aura-like vision, so who knows if they radiate green to a normal person seeing them live. I saw them from around 100 feet away]

I am Parcival. The crystal columns and beams are willed. They are simply willed and I do not know the exact make-up, they are similar to your quartz crystals which happen in nature.

There will be a time when your peoples meet us. We do not look significantly different so as to be spooky, but it will nonetheless cause much unneeded grief and disbelief for many humans if they are unprepared. I wish this information to get out to many because it will help the transdimensional shift which is in the works and coming quite quickly. I welcome you all to the 5th dimension of reality and truly look forward to our sharing in Gajun and peaceful interconnection and Love.

I’ve decided. I’m going to become a medium. The only way for me to truly understand the process is to experience it.
After all, we all have the capacity, right?

Yes, in theory just like we also all have to capacity to play the violin as a living, or be come a dancer or a nuclear physicist, but not all are able to do everything equally well.

It sounds a bit like you don’t believe mediums can receive messages, and they are all just money hungry hoaxers? That is of course perfectly okay if you do – we each form our opinions on the input we receive, and if you haven’t experienced a medium session one-on-one with a good medium/clairvoyant then it is perfectly normal to say it is all nonsense – I know I did.

In fact I must say that you are being remarkably open towards this. I can tell you I was a arrogant know-it-all ~10 years ago with regards to clairvoyants and all things that science wouldn’t deal with, because it doesn’t fit with their idea of the universe as one giant machine governed by laws we have yet to discover in full (only reproducible things have their interest). A channeling or a healing is not reproducible, hence not science.

It was a humbling experience to acknowledge that the very people I had been mocking and laughed at for being gullible all my life were in fact not so wrong after all.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I admire your openness towards people with very different views from your own. I had to learn that the hard way.

If you are serious about it, then I would suggest getting a clairvoyant sessions one-on-one first to get a feel for what it is like (and to get some evidence that this is not all nonsense). You will need training – not everyone is a natural.

If these mediums believed in half of what they channel, why are they so concerned about profiting off their transmissions?

The postman gets money too – why can’t he just work for free. It doesn’t matter what your professions is – you want money for your time. But sure if you have a regular job and channel in your spare time, then no donations would be needed. However consider how much time and effort some of these people are putting into this: every other day channeling and writing it down…it becomes a chore and some kind of compensation is in order for them to keep it up, although as you say most do not require donations.

Only the very best are able to make a living out of being a medium/clairvoyant. It is unfortunately not as lucrative as people think.

I attended a mini workshop some years back to test my clairvoyant abilities, and it was very difficult for me – it was almost like I just made things up, but some of it was true, and we are talking very specific things like the person had a long haired white rug under a glass table in their living room. However, most of the things I said were way off the mark, so I would be the kind of clairvoyant that would give people 5 things that were correct and 20 things wrong – that is not convincing for anyone, but of course this is without any additional training. So yes go for it!

I actually enjoyed Blossom’s message; even with it’s lack of clear intent on the ‘Federation of Light’s’ end. Reading these ‘channeled’ messages as if they are being transmitted from Mt. Sinai is a slippery slope in my opinion. Of course there will be bumps in the road of comprehension and meaning. One needs only skim through the piles of conflicting channeled information just in the last year to verify this. The bottom line is the core ‘truth’ of the current paradigm doesn’t boil down to a simple equation that can be digested by the more than 7-billion Souls who reside on (or in) this planet. Not to mention the millions of our Intergalactic Brethren and Sistren who have gathered to take part in this Divine Transition.

Frankly, from where I stand, Mike, Sheldan and Blossoms latest messages ALL seemed at a ‘lower grade’ than I might have wished considering the current Earth crises. Depending on ‘ones’ perspective, there could be many reasons for this. I find comfort in the idea that the GFL are also directly impacted by the ebb and flow of energies coming from the 3D frequency, and are also frustrated with how long ‘First Contact’ (only officially of course, as there are many people and Governments who have had one-to-one interactions with Extraterrestrials) has been thwarted by the Dark Cabal. For me, that’s certainly as interesting to ponder as anything else being suggested about the lack of definitive ‘open’ involvement by the GFL. So important not to project Angelic expectations onto SaLuSa and Company… they are co-Creators; NOT creator-God’s. Accepting that the GFL doesn’t know exactly how this is all going to play out may be a bit of a let down depending on ones expectations; which is why it’s important to remember that: ‘Expectations are resentments under construction.’ This is an organic process WE are involved in… not a predestined symphony conducted by the GFL in which we are only pawns. The ‘roles’ we are ‘playing’ are as vital to the possibility of Humanity, the Argarthans, the GFL and anyone else for that matter, hopefully meeting in the middle somewhere. It’s ALL happening right NOW. Don’t underestimate your power to manifest our birthright of regenerating Unity-Consciousness. Perhaps the GFL are engaged in the same process- just from a different frequency. Will the GFL have their ‘on’ and ‘off’ days? You better believe it (I’ve never heard them claim that their infallible). We all do. But that’s the nature of the game isn’t it? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My first post. I’ve been reading these updates from SaLuSa for about a month. Interesting, although like others here, I’m already getting tired of the word “soon” and vague implications such as that. I really don’t believe that “soon” means any time soon, although I am hoping I’m wrong.

I’d like to get more clarity regarding the Japan situation and why that happened. There has been conflicting information, from the statement that it was Gaia-induced to the earthquake and aftershocks being cabal-induced. That seems WAY far-fetched to me that there might have been a human hand in it.

Also, while I appreciate the information in these channelings, sometimes the way the words are put together, it sounds as though the ETs are running the show, that they are going to go out and get the bad guys and do ‘em in or some such thing. Again, it just sounds like this. Interesting, and curious choice of words.

There is ornate but all uni-colored stonework on the back wall of the dry fountain. To the right and below the water channel, 8 cm down, 25 cm right, you will find a loose or open square section. This is your keybox. I see a doorway left of the fountain, can’t tell if it’s a dark hallway or a door that has been opened. There is much pressure on your President Barack Husein Obama of the United States of America. He is being pushed by many sides for intrinsically opposite demands and he is defaultedly unable to proceed with plans which had been agreed upon. It will be the cause of his death in the near times as you understand that term. He and his advisors are currently in contact with Galactic Brotherhood of Light participants and he wishes that the world be aware of said extraterrestrial contact. **Japan may spell end of nuclear industry worldwide** (Let’s hope so)

People all over the world are watching updates on the Japanese nuclear emergency in growing horror and disbelief. Despite soothing words from nuclear energy industry promoters, each update today has signalled fresh disaster and even more drastic warnings. Anti-nuclear campaigner Dr Helen Caldicott says it could spell the end of the nuclear industry worldwide. David Donovan reports.
There appears to be massive divergence of opinion between experts about just how cataclysmic the Japanese situation could be.

Yesterday, Japan’s nuclear agency attempted to calm fears by ranking the incident as a Category 4 nuclear accident, below the 1979 Three Mile Island partial meltdown in the US and well below the Chernobyl meltdown and explosion 25 years ago which rated top of the scale at seven. Chernobyl was the world’s worst nuclear disaster to date, scattering a radioactive cloud over millions of people in Russia and Europe, causing massive loss of life.

Last night, the former head of Australia’s Nuclear Science and Technology Association (ANSTO) and major promoter of an Australian nuclear power industry, Dr Ziggy Switkowski, spoke soothing words about the situation in Japan, saying it was well in hand and was not even Japan’s most urgent priority.

I think the authorities have got much more urgent things to attend to than what the current nuclear challenge presents. Because I think the difficulties with the one, two or three reactors that are at the moment taking up all of the time will be progressively confronted and overcome I would think in the days ahead.

The Japanese authorities yesterday claimed that, despite the explosions, the 6 foot steel and iron containment vessel enclosing the reactors, which are designed to limit the loss of radiation into the atmosphere, had not been breached. After the 3rd explosion reported this morning, the Japanese authorities have since been notably quiet on this point.

As a sign of the increasing urgency, news reports at 1.03pm (AEDST) reported that Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan had takenover personal control of the official response to the nuclear disaster.

Then, at 1.50pm today it was reported: “It is clear that radiation has been spewing out into the atmosphere”.

The UK Telegraph has raised the spectre of a potential “nuclear nightmare” and is calling this the second worst nuclear disaster in history.

“The Fukushima crisis now rates as a more serious accident than the partial meltdown at Three Mile Island in the US in 1979, and is second only to the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, according to the French nuclear safety authority. After insisting for three days that the situation was under control, Japan urgently appealed to US and UN nuclear experts for technical help on preventing white-hot fuel rods melting.”

Dr. Michiko Kaku, a theoretical physicist at the City University of New York, yesterday offered a dire worst case scenario.

“The worst-case scenario is a steam/hydrogen gas explosion which blows the reactor vessels apart, sending uranium dioxide fuel rods and radioactive debris into the air. This might happen if the core is fully exposed for a few hours, which is a distinct possibility. This is what happened at Chernobyl, when such an explosion blew about 25 per cent of the core’s radioactive by-products into the air.”

Despite the authorities pumping sea-water in to cool the cores, it appears as if they have been exposed for some time today. Depending on the winds, experts say Tokyo could be at risk. At 3.30pm higher than normal radiation levels were being reported in Tokyo, though apparently not enough to harm human health.

Confusingly, at 4.14pm, the Financial Times reported that Shan Nair, the nuclear physicist who advised the European Commission on its response to the Chernobyl disaster, as saying that “It’s a bad accident but it’s not a Chernobyl”.

It seems we have no alternative but to painfully wait and see just how severe this disaster will turn out to be.

Dr Helen Caldicott: ‘The situation is very grim and not just for the Japanese people’
One person who is in no doubt about the seriousness of the incident is prominent anti-nuclear campaigner, Dr Helen Caldicott. Independent Australia spoke exclusively to Dr Caldicott yesterday as she was in transit to Canada to speak at a hearing into a proposal to build four new power plants in Darlington, Ontario.

Dr. Helen Caldicott is perhaps most influential environmental activist in the past 35 years.

She called the situation in Japan was an “absolute disaster” that could be many, many times worse than Chernobyl. Dr Helen Caldicott raised the possibility of cataclysmic loss of life and suggested the emergency could be far more severe than Chernobyl.

“The situation is very grim and not just for the Japanese people,” said Dr Caldicott.

“If both reactors blow then the whole of the Northern Hemisphere may be affected,” she said.

“Only one reactor blew at Chernobyl and it was only 3 months old, with new cores holding relatively little radiation; these ones have been operating for 40 years and would hold about 30 times more radiation than Chernobyl’s.”

Dr Caldicott cited a report from the New York Academy of Sciences, which said that over 1 million people have died as a direct result of the 1986 melt-down at Chernobyl, mostly from cancer. She said authorities had attempted to “hush up” the full scale of the Chernobyl disaster. The official 2005 figure from the International Atomic Energy Agency was just 4,000 fatalities.

The NYAS is a credible 200 year-old scientific institution. Their précis of the report is as follows:

This is a collection of papers translated from the Russian with some revised and updated contributions. Written by leading authorities from Eastern Europe, the volume outlines the history of the health and environmental consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. According to the authors, official discussions from the International Atomic Energy Agency and associated United Nations’ agencies (e.g. the Chernobyl Forum reports) have largely downplayed or ignored many of the findings reported in the Eastern European scientific literature and consequently have erred by not including these assessments.

When asked whether the disaster in Japan could be, say, 30 times worse than Chernobyl, Dr Caldicott said it could be even more catastrophic than that.

“It could be much, much, worse than that,” said Dr Caldicott.

“This could be a diabolical catastrophe—we’ll just have to wait and see.”

Dr Caldicott said any fall-out was unlikely to affect Australia, though the death toll in the northern hemisphere could be severe.

“Australia is probably not going to be affected by fall-out because the northern and southern air masses don’t mix.”

“But in the northern hemisphere, many millions could get cancer”.

Dr Caldicott said that despite the best efforts of nuclear energy campaigners, the Japanese disaster is likely to spell the end of the industry not just in Australia but worldwide.

“We’ve had earthquakes in Australia before—no-one will want to risk this happening in this country.”

“But I think the nuclear industry is finished worldwide.”

“I have said before, unfortunately, the only thing that is capable of stopping this wicked industry is a major catastrophe, and it now looks like this may be it.”

He lives with his father and the reason he stays in the garage is he thinks his neighbors are sucking out his blood and his muscles at night. See #34 – so here’s the big conundrum, disclosure triggers the timeline that Obama gets poisoned. And he’s the one making the disclosure. Coming forward, however, means that humanity can more directly benefit in a lot of ways (if that is in fact what they are offering). If he is aware of this it would explain why he would be reluctant. The resolve is complete, you may trust in this. As part of the energetic system of Gaia, you are informed moment to moment of all that you need to do to stay in harmony with this trajectory. It is literally an energetic vector created by intention and focus which has converged into a timeline as it materialized into form and now the process of metamorphosis is entirely underway. You are all within this process and participating in your own perfect way.

You are each different; none the same. This is as it ought to be to preserve the glorious diversity of the Earth and bring forth the creative qualities of contrast into the newness. You will find that there are many layers of shifting taking place–it is important to remember that none of you is in exactly the same place, although you reside for periods of time in shared bands of frequency. Some who are following are not that attuned yet to perspectives which are already natural for you. Realize that any way in which you think one of you is not fully capable is a landmark of where you are still enmeshed in limitations. Anyway in which you do not love you, or one of you, impacts your experience and ability to live fully in the bands of frequency that the New Earth will radiate and unfold.

In this newness which emerges this weekend, take the time to get your bearings and consider that come the start of the new day following these intense alignments, the effects of the energetic upgrades will still be integrating and may still be felt (you do not all approach or experience a time/space location entirely at the same point).

It is increasingly important that you learn to live within your own experience. To know and understand the energy that is within you–in your own words in your own way. It does not matter if this is not resonant or the same as another’s version of reality. In fact, how beautiful that there is this plurality of experience. Begin to relate to life from your own seat. Know the view from YOU. Qualify your focus with the standards that are truly your heart’s desires and ideals. To live from any other place is to abdicate the responsibility, freedom and power which is yours. Harmony is created by the informed balance of each of your perspectives.

All around you the Earth and your civilization are dealing with the understandings of power. Old ideas of the meaning of power are being revealed and the true idenity of each of you–empowered and divine–comes forth as you allow. Begin to create a coherent solidarity with mother Gaia within yourself; own your power, own your love, own your beauty. Be you. Navigate from within. Traipse not into another’s landscape saying you know what’s going on. Listen and share when invited or when you desire to connect. Be the one person you are meant to be: be you.

I have had the light experiences many times before. These were maybe 2 feet long, light colored violet and traveling about 10 feet and then dissappearing. I often call on the violet flame of St Germaine for any dense energy clearing and lately have been calling on my own violet flame for this clearing. I know this is connected. Also, over a year ago when I told Natalie Glasson (she is an ET In human form helping with the new earth) she told me exactly the same thing. Now , her I trust completely and also trust she is of the highest christed consciousness and i also believe her to be an ET. Man that was great to actually recieve an e-mail from an ET> I was honored.
One time over 2 years ago, I was at my nephews and seen this big round ball of green light right at my feet. It had to be at least 3 foot by 3 foot and stayed at my feet for almost 2 minutes. When it went away, I went out on the porch to check the mail and all of a sudden I see these violet tubes of light about 1 foot long going fastly across the sidewalk. I must have seen over 50 of them before it disappaited. Like I said, I have been seeing lights for the past 2 to 3 years now and I know it is a sign. Man, we really are living in the age of miracles.

Anyway, the message the grey is holding on the disc was a warning. It is unclear if the greys are the ones communicating or the ones we are being warned of. I think they are the message bringers, hence the grey HOLDING this disc with the encoded message.

[SLS]It is time. Vietnam will be seeing earthquake and volcano activity almost immediately. The Southern half of the peninsula will be separating from west to east. An enormous cave will be opening south of the current coast line. As the land rises from the edges of the newfound opening to Agartha there will also be a subsequent dropping, sinking of the Southern end of Vietnam. A 5th dimensional gridline is being placed there and will ultimately be the cause of an enormous up-pouring of souls in this area of Gaia.

I am SaLuSa. There is already an unmistakable fear and trembling of the populace as more questions abound concerning your deities, concerning the future of your planet. People are so worried about their stock markets and their popular idols that they forget the deeper meanings. This is understandable and is actually a portion of why you all came to Gaia to begin with, but, the time is coming for you to remember again the connected souls you once were.

From what I can gather, the Annunaki where indeed very human-like. Somewhat larger but, similar. After all, if we are hybrids from Homo Erectus and Annunaki gene splicing, it makes sense that there would be some resemblance.

I’ve never personally had any… well… there was that one time…

I just remember a low droning hum and a crazy light outside my window. It was funny because, I don’t remember sitting up or waking up. I was just awake and sitting on my bed.

I had a buddy over who was sleeping on the floor. He woke up abruptly and asked what the noise was.

Maybe I was abducted? Maybe my friend was? I have no memory other than the droning hum and the light.

And by the way, my skepticism is not intended to discredit anyone’s personal experience. I simply lack that reference point. I think its AMAZING to here people’s experiences. I can’t wait till we all can share that reality.

**Under a Cloud in California**

It was yesterday when the madness really hit home.

It had been after three days of scanning the internet with an ad-hoc network of fellow journalists, researchers, friends and activists–reading poorly translated Asian news, emails from nuclear experts, and, out of obligation, American puff pieces mostly meant to preserve the power of the Nuclear lobby and lull the public into a terrified stupor–that I got the phone call.

“I don’t want to alarm you,” my friend who also lives in the San Francisco area told me. “But I just got a call from a friend, and he has family in the military, and he was just told that the military is evacuating personnel and their families from California, and keeping it classified. It’s not confirmed, and I don’t want to post a rumor. What should we do?”

For three days I had been asking myself that very same question. What should we do? From the beginning the American media had seemingly decided in advance that this was not something Americans really needed to be worried about…as in, don’t go anywhere, you’re not in danger, just sit there glued to your screens…but be afraid, very afraid!

I knew enough to know we were not completely free of danger. Not only was California in the direct jet stream path of any potential radioactive “death cloud,” but even more ominous were the warnings that the West Coast could be rocked by a similar earthquake in the coming weeks.

By the second day, my network of friends and associates were freely passing around information about potassium iodide to protect against radiation, weather models of the jet stream, independent media reports with more sober and scientifically astute analyses of the situation than the mainstream would offer, and links to ad-hoc radioactivity monitoring groups like the Radiation Network.

We had, informally, as a network of mostly intelligent, mostly-informed, mostly like-minded people, decided we were not being told the truth, and thus, should begin discussing ways to respond to various potential outcomes. We had seen enough with, 9/11, Katrina and the BP disaster to know that the government was neither prepared nor capable (and probably not interested) in helping out in the event of another major catastrophe, and further, had a pattern of lies, obfuscation, and cover ups whenever these things did happen.

That night my partner and I went shopping for emergency supplies, and I spent most of the night trying to calm her anxieties. When we woke up, things in Japan had gone critical, US personnel had been evacuated from the Tokyo area, and the website for the Radiation Network was no longer available. It was into this mix of terrifying new information that I received the call about the military possibly evacuating from California. Can you blame me for giving it even nominal credence?

For the rest of the day I reached out to anyone I knew in the military, or who had family or friends in the military, asking them if they could find out if there was any merit to the rumor at all? And is this something we should expect procedurally and thus take as a cue to do something ourselves?

Much to my surprise, not a single person I contacted thought the idea outlandish, including members of my immediate and extended family. It was a perceptible shift, and it said a lot about the climate of mis- and disinformation permeating the crisis, and the failing lack of any confidence in official sources. For the preceding two days my small cadre of informationistas put out information assessing the true severity of the crisis, and for our efforts we had been assailed as “paranoiacs” and “fearmongers” and castigated for advising preparedness and “fomenting panic.” Although the accusations were just a wee hyperbolic, there was no denying it was in fact gunning down the messenger with a Tek 9.

It was with this criticism in mind that I began to reach out, discreetly, in search of an answer, and found that all were equally concerned and only too willing to help out. A flurry of communication ensued. Thankfully, the network eventually reported back that no one was aware of or had seen any unusual activity. As a kind of unexpected bonus I did receive back quite a bit of nuanced explanation of the military culture which helped assure some that this would not be considered procedure, and was unlikely to happen.

Coincidentally that evening, a number of American news stories appeared essentially mocking those of us who were engaged in some level of preparedness. “Sales of Iodide and Geiger Counters Skyrocket” would be the headline, paired with a sarcastic lede along the lines of, “Despite official assurances that there was absolutely zero danger of any radiation hitting the West Coast, some Americans remain unconvinced and flocked to alternative health retailers in search of potions to protect them.” Y2K and 2012 cliches were recycled. The message was clear: You are crazy if you do anything to help yourself, and we need to make sure we point it out to everyone.

By the morning of the fourth day, the winds had (literally) changed, and it appeared that Japan and China would now lay in the path of any “death cloud.” Without beating you over the head with the metaphor, it was startling to see how quickly and effortlessly the paradigm could shift like the trade winds of the Pacific.

A day earlier I was seriously considering escape routes southeast, and struggled throughout the day to accept that this might be possible. That today, or maybe tomorrow, or next week, or next year, something big like this could easily happen and everything I had known or been or done or planned or dreamed or lost sleep over, would in an instant be washed away in a tsunami of cultural detritus. That the connection we have to this world, and who we think we are, and what we have invested in it, is so tenuous, and so fragile, yet it may be the hardest thing we face letting go of as we watch the world end around us.

Yes, the world is ending. It may or may not go in an apocalyptic cataclysm, but after this week all of us are just a little bit closer to believing it could happen. What is inevitable, what we are seeing right before our eyes, is the end of the old world order (which, ironically, was supposed to be the so-called “New World Order”). Who, in their right mind, can stand up now and say that we are still no more than isolated nations of different peoples separated by vast distances? From my desk in Northern California, on the day after the Tsunami struck, I watched a live video feed of the wave entering San Francisco Bay and terminating on the shores of Emeryville in the East Bay. It is in that wave, and in the radioactive death cloud, that we see and realize our interconnectedness. No more can we pretend to act in the “national interest” when the suffering of billions is happening on our doorstep, and their garbage becomes our garbage.

I may look back and laugh someday about all this, but I doubt it. No one called me crazy for wondering if we should evacuate. In fact, for days it was all anyone would ask me. But in the end, no one wanted to evacuate, least of all me. I spent 40 years trying to find my ideal home, my perfect community, and I finally found it here a year ago, and goddammit I’m not leaving. And neither, it appears, are any of my friends.

From all chaos emerges some order, and what is emerging from this crisis is a greater level of mass consciousness, and that final straw to lay upon the beleaguered back of society: a palpable understanding that our collective situation has become dire enough for action. As I awoke this morning, I found that hundreds of my West Coast friends had convened an ad-hoc meeting online and were discussing how it was time to begin implementing (take a big breath) “community network emergency contingency plans and resource mapping” in order to localize our efforts, so that we will know what to do if the situation in Japan gets worse, or at any future time in which we face a similar, or worse, crisis.

When the system we are told we must put our faith in and depend on leaves us helpless, and then mocks us for trying to help ourselves, it might be time to consider that perhaps its time to break from that system. In fact, we don’t need a system at all. In an age of institutional failure, we–each other–are the solution to the problems we face, which are only, invariably, going to get worse, until we have finally shaken off the plague of the old world order and can proceed again with the business of living, this time, in the manner of our choosing.

Were Japan’s Nuclear Reactors designed to be explosive?

Today’s episode of Democracy Now (Mar 17, 2011) contains some, uh, explosive claims from Karl Grossman and Paul Gunter. What they say is that nuclear fuel rods are themselves designed with explosive materials. Not the “fuel” (uranium) inside the fuel rods, but the rods. The design of the fuel rods themselves requires being under water to prevent explosions. It’s probably better if I quote from the report rather than try to replicate it with my words:

Interviewed were: Karl Grossman, investigative journalist and professor of journalism at SUNY College at Old Westbury. He is author of several books on the nuclear industry. Paul Gunter, reactor oversight project director at nuclear watchdog group Beyond Nuclear. He is the co-founder of the Clamshell Alliance anti-nuclear group.

The main thrust of the story was that nuclear officials were warned and knew of design flaws and the level of danger. But the powers that be deployed the risky design that, as we’ll see in a minute, is explosive by nature. However as I noted yesterday just because the powers that be screwed up doesn’t absolve us from our own responsibility in this. It is our purchase of electricity which causes the electricity companies to exist. (see: Higher Purpose: Japans earthquake and nuclear crisis asks us what we really want)

JUAN GONZALEZ: Japan is facing an unprecedented triple crisis caused by the earthquake, tsunami and the partial nuclear meltdown. The official death toll has now risen to above 5,000, while 9,400 people remain missing. Fears of radioactivity have severely hampered relief efforts in parts of northern Japan, which was hit with a snow storm on Wednesday.

We should remember that the nuclear radiation emissions so far essentially haven’t caused any deaths. It is the flooding and earthquake. The level of fear our society has over anything nuclear is obvious here. The earthquake and tsunami would itself be a big story with lots of coverage (e.g. the Haitian earthquake last year) but it’s the nuclear issue that’s getting the coverage.

PAUL GUNTER: Well, Unit 3 is burning what they call plutonium oxide. They like to call it MOX as an acronym rather than POX, but in fact it’s plutonium oxide. This fuel has a lower melting point, for one, and it’s just loaded with plutonium, which is highly toxic at micro levels.

KARL GROSSMAN: What has happened here is an enormous nuclear power tragedy, and we’re on the cusp, I fear, of an even more horrific tragedy, with a loss of cool down accident—and we have multiple loss of cool down accidents underway—and, importantly, breach of containment. And as Paul said, that’s quite possible now. Just the most enormous disaster, except for a loss of water accident in a spent fuel pool, where you have tons upon tons of nuclear poisons—no containment, except for some corrugated steel ceiling. That stuff gets out in a loss of water accident, and it would get out explosively, because of the fuel rods being made of zirconium. And I could explain that. It will just burst into the environment, become airborne, affect not only Japan but much of the world.

Here’s where he’s setting up the the fuel rods being explosive claim. But, let’s unpack this paragraph a bit. There are two sets of nuclear rods – those in the reactor being actively used to generate power – and those in the spent fuel pond. See Rachel Maddow compares the Japan nuclear disaster to Three Mile Island and Chernobyl for some insight into the distinction. As Rachel reported, the spent fuel pool has lost its cooling water. Also the spent fuel pool doesn’t have the same quality of containment as the reactor core. The reactor core on these plants has three layers of building and a gigantic steel vessel. The spent fuel pool is simply a pool of water in a simple building, and in these reactors this pool is part of the outer containment building and hence as the containment building has blown up the spent fuel pools are now essentially open to the atmosphere with zero protection.

KARL GROSSMAN: Yeah. They have known the consequences all along. This is a report—it’s called “Calculation of Reactor Accident Consequences 2″—done by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, not Greenpeace, and it projects peak early fatalities, peak injuries, peak cancer deaths, scale cost in billions in terms of property damage, and a large hunk of the earth being rendered uninhabitable for millennia. And just, for example, for the Indian Point 3 nuclear plant, which is about 35 miles from where we sit now in New York, 50,000 peak early fatalities; 167,000 peak early injuries; cancer deaths, 14,000; scale cost of billions, they say $314 billion—in 1980s dollars, we’re talking about a trillion.

As to the likelihood of a severe core melt accident, in 1985 the NRC acknowledged that, over a 20-year period, the likelihood of a severe core melt accident to be basically 50/50 among the 100 nuclear power plants—there’s 104 now—in the United States. They’ve known all along here in this country that disaster could come, and there’s a good likelihood of it coming, and they’ve known the consequences.

The danger has been known for years – and essentially ignored.

KARL GROSSMAN: … “What does the NRC and its staff believe the likelihood to be of a severe core meltdown?” So, you know, when you hear these lines about, “Oh, the chances of a severe core meltdown, infinitesimal,” and if there is, like you’re hearing these reports out of Japan, an accident, “Oh, just some minor effects among the population”—not at all.

You go to the documents. And many of them were, well, secret for years. In my book—I did a book in 1980, Cover Up: What You Are Not Supposed to Know about Nuclear Power—there’s a line in a Atomic Energy Commission report, “WASH-740-Update”: “The possible size of the area of such a disaster might be equal to that of the State of Pennsylvania”—in other words, covering the whole state of what would be the state of Pennsylvania, which almost occurred with the Three Mile Island accident. We’re talking about huge disasters here. …

And just let me mention one other thing. Everybody should, when you hear about these hydrogen explosions, understand that the fuel rods are composed of a substance called zircaloy. It’s based on something called zirconium. And way back in the late ’40s and ’50s, they were looking for something to build these—not control rods—fuel rods with, and they decided to use zirconium, because it allowed the neutrons to move from fuel rod to fuel rod and keep the chain reaction going. Problem was zirconium, the other major industrial use is the speck on a flashbulb. Zirconium is explosive; at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, it explodes. Before that, it emits hydrogen gases, which have exploded in several of these plants. There’s, in a nuclear plant itself—this is in my book—20 tons of zirconium. At spent fuel pool, you’re talking about, because there’s all these old fuel rods, hundreds of tons. That stuff, again, as things get hot, explodes.

That’s where it gets to the claim that the reactors were designed to be explosive. This was an accident waiting to happen.

The fuel rods are long tubes – 12 feet or more long – made of zircaloy, as he says. The fuel (uranium) is made of pellets inserted into the rods. The rods are gathered into bundles and lowered into the reactor.

The thing is that zircaloy itself is explosive. As it breaks down it emits hydrogen (the explosions at the plants were said to be hydrogen gas explosions) and the zirconium itself is explosive. If/when the rods reach 2000 degrees F.

As the full affects of the earthquake are being felt in Japan, so it is focusing people’s attention upon it due to the vast damage, loss of life and potential for even more after shocks. It is a situation that is making people world-wide; question the sense in continuing with nuclear energy as a source of power. The more the dangers are publicized and the longer it goes on, there will undoubtedly be a groundswell against its further use. Do you see Dear Ones how eventually the truth must come out, yet regrettably it is not until a serious condition arises. There are already calls for an alternative source of power, and our allies will be pushing for free energy devices that are already available. It is sad that Man does not wake up until faced with a disaster, but if it can be a stepping stone to a new approach it might be looked upon as at least having a beneficial outcome. Free energy would solve so many problems that exist at present, and be one of the greatest steps forward in this era. The difference in your lives would be phenomenal, and put you that much nearer to what lays ahead by way of Ascension.

We monitor all major events on Earth, and as far as we are allowed are always looking for ways of lessening the impact upon you. Over a long period of time we have substantially reduced radiation levels, which have inevitably followed the testing of nuclear weapons. Without such help you would by now have been a nation of very sick people, and as you know the affects continue from one generation to another. If and when the decision is made to stop using nuclear power, we will help remove the dangerous plant and prevent it from posing a threat to you. We cannot help you unless you are prepared to help yourselves, as we must only re-act to requests from you rather than be seen to “interfere”. We would love to deal with all of your problems, but there are lessons to be learnt that mean there is a proper time for us to show up. However, we are working hard to get Disclosure acknowledged, and then we can really help you and would not delay coming amongst you.

How life can change without any warning, and so suddenly that you are often ill prepared. At least you have been made aware of what lies ahead, and with your input all will proceed as planned. You are vital to the outcome and getting an enormous amount of attention. The Universe is closely following your journey, as it is important that you reach the stage of readiness to become Galactic Beings. The cycle of duality is to all intents and purposes over, and we want as many souls as possible to return to the level that was your home in past times. Many of you know that Earth is not your real home, and yearn to return to it. It will be like taking a grand holiday in the sun, after being underground for all your life. Everything will be so bright and beautiful, the very air you breathe clean and refreshing, and an uplifting energy permanently around you. It cannot be much different wherever your home is located, as so much more perfection exists in the higher dimensions.

One day in the future you will look back and no longer feel any pain or unhappiness, because the high energies of the love vibration will have taken over. You will be in a permanent state of joy and happiness, and dark thoughts will not even enter your mind. All souls together in such energies become as one, and share a close bonding in a high state of love and Light. But for reasons of service to others, you would have no reason to return to the lower dimensions. Indeed, if anything you will move into even higher levels for the purpose of furthering your evolution. Progress is ongoing and only ceases when you fully return to the Source of All That Is.

Peace will come to Earth, so do not feel downhearted if for a time the dark Ones are able to resist change as it will only be a temporary hold up. The higher energies planted upon the Earth are so powerful that they will transmute the lesser energies. That will take away any possibility that the dark Ones had of making more mischief and soon they will be stripped of their power, and we can start our many projects to lift up Earth and the people upon it. It will happen, and then the suffering upon Earth will be dealt with quite quickly, and a happy civilization will emerge. Health will be a principle benefit upon Ascension, as in near perfection you will not experience the aches and pains of the old carbon based body. You will stay young and healthy, and in the process of Ascension will be healed of any condition that is anything less.

The dynamics of the energies playing upon Earth are setting up the grid that will bring the new Earth into being. At the same time they will uplift you also, and both will be ready for the final action leading to Ascension. It calls for more time being allocated to your personal development, so that you may take the opportunity to raise your vibrations. Meditation is most suitable and recommended; even if you can only find limited time in which to do it. At least find quiet moments when you can unwind, from what is a stressful time on Earth just at present. Being fearful will not help, and your health will benefit if you can find a little time for yourself each day. Also remember when you are in a relaxed state to send out your love to wherever you see it is needed. Perhaps you are already in a group presentation, and that will be even better and more powerful.

Money worries occupy many people, but even these will disappear in time as debts are forgiven, and wealth is distributed more fairly. Can you imagine the relief when people can start again with not just a clean sheet, but with the advantage of being funded once more. It will be but one step towards a brand new society, that focuses on sharing and works for the benefit of each other. Dealings will be carried out above board, and the authorities will show their honesty in whatever they do. People will be consulted much more than now, and have more say in matters that concern them. In one way or another the old paradigm will die away, as it has ceased to fairly reflect the needs of the people for eons of time.

I guess all we can do is to keep on keepin’ on…. as we always have in the past. It seems to always get back to being a beacon of light in our own communities, showing kindness and compassion where it is appropriate….encouraging others not to lose hope.

jbiz this is not a television show where things get solved by the end of each episode. dealing with and working for over 6 billion people takes a while to do. and salusa has said many many times that messages repeat themselves for various reasons. tryin to make sense of them is not a bad thing but being impatient about when when when will do you no good. if they do nothing for you but bring you down in a sense, then just simply stop reading them. i’m not tryin to down you brother i’m simply tryin to help and i hope what i said does.

I have been thinking about you for a day or so now, and just wondering… The Braveheart Clan most assuredly has room for varying opinions. We are a rather ecclectic mix of people here. Hey, did you all read that letter from Anne in Japan. I could not believe it. If that was the US, people would be looting, rioting and breaking into others houses for their own survival. It sounds like those people are really working together . Imagine one house has water and the owner is compassionate enough to put up a sign to let others come and take water. This is the kind of story that should be front headlines but no, our media just wants to spread the stories sprung out of fear. Fear sells.

Don’t get me wrong. I do find substance in the messages. For the most part, I’m here to witness another perspective while providing my own.

I hope that my posts have not been received as outwardly abusive toward anyone.

I am not here to take away from the message of hope found in the transmissions. I’m simply trying to point out that numerous Humans worldwide are taking matters into their own hands WITHOUT knowledge of the GFL or any extraterrestrial presence.

While I cannot fault anyone for subscribing to this possibility (I’ve said on many occasions that I am very fond of a Galactic role for Humanity), I do encourage each of you to participate further by getting involved in a community effort in your respective locales.

It is extremely easy to get swept away in these transmissions and feel as though one is having an impact by thinking good thoughts in all directions.

For instance, I’ll be involved in another event in Austin this summer. I would love for GM to have a booth with information present. Get out from behind the computer and take this to the streets!

Furthermore, I am thankful that these messages brought all of us together so that we can experience the full spectrum of our Human Light. I do get anxious and frustrated with redundancy, but that doesn’t deter me from my path. If my actions are in line with a Divine Order, so be it. If a “Divine Order” suggests that my actions are not in alignment, I would seriously question that particular “Order’s” divinity.

Speaking of teaching in public schools. Did you ever see the movie Lean on Me. It is a true story of how one principle turned a down trodden school totally around. The sad part is they had him removed as he was too out there for the school and the parents.
